Twin Peaks Outfitters, Wyoming
Wyoming Mule Deer Outfitters

Our Wyoming mule deer hunt takes place in mid September in region G on the western side of Wyoming. This is a horseback hunt based out of our house. It is a 2 hunter per guide ratio, unless other arrangements are made. We have some tremendous mule deer genetics. This is an extreme hunt taking place at 9500-10,000 feet in elevation. Spot and stalk is the best way to hunt these eagle eyed bucks. By truck and trailer out every morning we have an unlimited variance of trails and canyons to hunt. If there is excessive pressure in one spot we can move to hundreds of others. Top physical shape is a plus! We will do our best to get the deer to you but your physical shape is a big factor in this hunt. Typical shots range from 200 to 350 yards. It is best to know your weapon out to 500+. We will get you the best possible shot opportunity but sometimes you just can't close the gap.

Elk Springs Outfitters
Idaho Mule Deer Hunting Guide

Elk Springs Outfitters mule deer hunts are from a tent camp located at about 8000ft located within the River of No return wilderness of Idaho. This is a high country hunt in rugged, physically demanding mountains and river breaks. Due to its remoteness, this area receives very little deer hunting pressure and holds some very large trophy bucks. Elk Springs Outfitters have harvested bucks over 200” and taken both typical and non typical deer. Although our MULE DEER SPECIFIC hunts are free range, fair chase and we cannot ever guarantee anything. Elk Springs Outfitters run nearly 100% success with an average mule deer buck of around 150”. We only take a maximum of two deer hunters at a time. If you book a 1x1 you would be the only hunter in camp. This area isn't the type of area where you will see tons and tons of mule deer, however. We spend many hours glassing, intermittently changing vantage points.

Hidden Valley Outfitters-Montana Mule Deer Hunting

Rifle Mule Deer
Our Mule Deer hunts take place on very large private ranches. The terrain varies from dry, rolling grasslands up to rough canyons with cuts and pockets of brush and trees. There are also open fields of grain and meadows of hay that lead up to patchy and heavy pine and cedar trees providing cover for the deer during hot Fall afternoons. On this hunt you will often see 20 to 50 deer daily. Success rate is over 95% with the outside spread on the antlers between 20-28 inches with 22-26 being about average.

Archery Deer
This is an excellent hunt for the bow hunter enthusiast to take part in. With the help of pre-season scouting and some of the best deer country in Eastern Montana, we pattern our deer to and from their bedding and feeding areas, thus enabling us with the aid of pits, tree stands, ground blinds, decoys and/or stalking to get you within range. Quite often we will see three or more mature bucks traveling together during
