Get the thrill of a lifetime with big game hunting. Experience
remote quad trails, comfortable lodging and good quality game.
Start the day with a good hearty breakfast and end it with
friendly campfire chatting. Enjoy memorable and exhilarating
moose hunting adventures in northern Alberta.
Our moose hunts typically start with us quading along trails
to our remote cabin, which stands on the banks of Little Buffalo
River. This cabin is where you can stay for the entire six
day hunt. Day to day hunting generally includes hunting from
morning to noon, have lunch and then hunt later in the afternoon
till almost dark returning for eveing meal. This gives anyone
a perfect chance for a peaceful nap in the afternoon. |

or Tuff Ayers Outfitters
Alberta Canada Hunting Outfitters
Bear Hunts, Moose Hunts,
Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunts, Mule Deer
In
2006 Don Ayers Outfitters proudly celebrates over “30”
years in the outfitting industry. We are full time outfitters
... when you book a hunt with Don or Tuff Ayers OUTFITTERS
you get two (2) Don Ayers in the camps. My son Tuffy and myself
run the camps and our business is a hands-on operation.
We guide three different types of 'hunts' starting with baited
Black Bear in the Spring. We provide an ATV Rut Moose hunt
in September and October and you can get a Black Bear for
a combination hunt. The season concludes with our Regular
season Moose and our Trophy Whitetail hunts in November, which
is also during the Rut season. Wolf permits are available
on all our hunts. |
| Whitetail
Deer Hunts...
Most mature Alberta bucks weigh in at close to 250 –
300 pounds on the hoof and will carry a rack in the 140 plus
range, with 180 to 190 class Deer being taken each Fall. For
years, we have provided our hunters with great opportunities
on trophy class Deer, but with the past 3 Alberta winters
being mild, we know that most of our mature bucks are surviving
the winter so the best hunting is yet to come. We also recommend
that every hunter purchase a wolf and coyote stamp so that
he/she may shoot them for added excitement. In some areas
you can also hunt Mule Deer.

| MOOSE
HUNTS
Summary for 2006
2006 was another good year with 10 hunters killing 9 bulls.
Six (6) of the 10 hunters had hunted with us before. We are
very happy to say that two of the bulls were at the 45"
mark for spreads. With the logging companies going strong
they have managed to open up even more country to us than
we have ever had before. We had a new hunter (James Harvey)
from Livingston Montana take a 53" bull that fell only
3 points short of 'book', and he told he is coming back to
better that mark. Don Frombach (17th season) and Craig Harmeling
(8th season) managed to fill both their tags by the 4th day
of their hunt and decided to stick around just to take in
a little more enjoyment before they headed back home.
